Join us for a day of communing with plants, tending to the land, and connecting with community. Our intention for these days is to practice ayni, or reciprocity, with the land. These days are meant be nourishing and filled with gratifying labor. We take our time to introduce ourselves to the land by beginning with a plant sit, nourishing our bodies with lunch, and finally tending to the land to show our gratitude. 2:30PM ARRIVAL
3-4PM PLANT SIT: We will introduce ourselves to one medicinal plant that is grown on the farm by sitting with, holding, and drinking the plant to tap into the physical, spiritual, and energetic medicine they hold. Please bring a journal and something to write with for this activity.
4:4:30 SNACK BREAK: Light and refreshing snacks will be provided. If you would like to bring snacks to share, we welcome it! Please make sure your offering is clearly labelled with ingredients.
4:30-7PM LAND TENDING: We will have different activities that have varying impact levels to make sure there is an activity for everyone. You are welcome to switch at any point. Self-paced breaks for water, stretching, resting, bathroom use are encouraged.
7:30PM CLOSING & DEPARTURE: cleaning up our work areas, sharing lessons from the day, group picture and harvesting herbs to take home.

All participants are required to take a COVID test (PCR/Rapid Test) the day of the event, ideally before arrival.
Limited tests will be available on site.
This event will be held outdoors however we cannot guarantee social distancing for all activities, masking is encouraged.
Please stay home if you feel sick, suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19 within the past 10 days, are recovering from COVID-19 and/or live/share indoor space with someone who currently has COVID-19 in order to minimize spread.
We highly encourage participants to limit high-risk activities before participating in this event and continue masking in public spaces (including around people who you do not know their covid status).
Hand sanitizer and hand washing stations will be available at all times and is required for anyone sharing tools and food during the event. -
Terrain: All activities will take place outdoors, on grassy and uneven terrain. There is a slight incline from the gravely parking lot to the welcome area closest to the high tunnel, tool shed and bathroom.

Water: Drinking water will be available but please bring your own water bottle.
Bathroom: There will be a single stall, gender inclusive porta-potty onsite with a hand washing station on the outside.

Please keep in mind the weather for the day and dress appropriately as we will be outside the entire time.
The terrain is uneven and can be very muddy in certain areas if it has recently rained, so please wearsturdy boots that you don’t mind getting muddy or possibly wet.
Ticks are present! We encourage you to do a tick check when you get home. Some other preventative measures include: wearing light colored clothing, long sleeves and pants, wear tick spray, or socks over pants.
We have very limited shaded areas especially during the middle of the day. So please make sure to bring a hat, sunglasses, wear sunscreen, and drink lots of water if the weather is forecasted be sunny and warm.
